TC Communications' award winning “Eye in the Sky™ System” permits live situational awareness via the direct transfer of data straight back into HQ and has been developed for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

TC Communications' Eye in the Sky™ allows the user to transmit multimedia data live from a moving aircraft, so there is no time wasted in landing and tranmitting the vital data, then taking off and continuing on the surveillance tasks.

The Eye in the Sky™ system uses two 64k channels to make a 128k circuit which is good enough for the live video surveillance system to dial directly back into a standard ISDN network or other Inmarsat systems in use by Government e.g. GAN, Fleet 77 & Satcom B HSD, as well as a full duplex speech circuit to direct information gathered by the aircraft.

As Aircraft's are expensive platforms to run, TC’s Eye in the Sky™ allows one aircraft to carry out more tasks and provides immediate feedback to operational leaders on those tasks in one sortie. Swift 64 satellite airtime consumed by TC’s Eye in the Sky™ system can be provided at a lower cost than the additional flying hours required when TC’s system is not used

The Eye in the Sky™ can take data inputs from most surveillance aircraft sensors.
