Coast Watch

In-air communications can be so much more exciting and extensive than the expensive phone calls made from the pointy end of commercial airlines. It just took a clever Australian company to find them…

In recent times, TC Communication's 'Eye in the Sky' system has been used to fight bushfires, make drug busts and track down illegal fishing boats (… all in a day's work really).

In a groundbreaking project, TC developed the 'Eye in the Sky' system for Australian Customs Coastwatch division. In the first commercial application of its kind in the world, TC has enabled Coastwatch to become a world leader in border surveillance technology.

TC was also responsible for the world's first live video surveillance capability via helicopter - as developed for the Taiwanese National Fire Authority.

The latest developments in "in air" communications revolve around the launch of Swift Broadband, and yet again TC is at the cutting edge of the developing complete solutions around this capability.

From small data transfers at 9.6 kbps through to huge downloads at 8Mbps, TC can provide the total communications solution you are looking for.

Sea
Navy

Throughout the ages and across many cultures, paying homage to water spirits has been considered crucial to ensuring the well-being and safe return of sailors and those whose lives depend on the sea...

Honestly, you'd be better off relying on one of our satellite communication terminals. The Royal Australian Navy does!

But you don't need to own a warship to stay in touch when you're out at sea!

We have a range of products to suit most mariners. Be it the Iridium handheld satphone for the recreational fisherman through to a family of Fleet terminals for professional mariners and blue-water yachtsmen - we can make it possible to run your office from the helm of your boat. Phone, faxes, data, emails, web-surfing are just some of the applications we can seamlessly provide you with.  And if you need really high bandwidth you will be thrilled with our latest developments – including Fleet Broadband and Marine VSAT terminals.

Be it tracking participants in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race or providing an “office at Sea” for yachting enthusiasts; from enabling floating oil rigs to transfer huge quantities of data in real time or sending our Field Engineers out to Navy warships on patrol in the Gulf as part of our 24/7 Help Desk contract commitments, TC Communications is the whole of life satellite solution provider you can trust.

So – don't worry about making offerings to the water spirits, just invest a short amount of time with us and we will ensure you are satisfied with the return on your investment.
